Specialist medical weight management at Naas Cardiology & Endocrinology Clinic. Dr Syed Kazmi, Consultant Endocrinologist and Diabetes Specialist, provides thorough metabolic assessment and evidence-based management for patients with obesity, metabolic syndrome and weight-related hormonal conditions. Sunday appointments available.
Dr Syed Kashif Hussain Kazmi, MRCPI, FRCP, CCT Diabetes & Endocrinology, is a Consultant Endocrinologist and Diabetes Specialist seeing patients at Naas Cardiology & Endocrinology Clinic, Suite 5, Vista Primary Care Clinic, Ballymore Road, Naas, Co. Kildare, W91 E6H2.
Excess weight often has underlying medical and hormonal components that a general practitioner does not always have the time or specialist tools to investigate fully. Dr Kazmi provides comprehensive metabolic assessment as part of a structured weight management approach — looking for treatable causes such as thyroid dysfunction, insulin resistance, PCOS, adrenal conditions or elevated cortisol.
Each consultation includes a thorough clinical history, targeted blood tests where indicated, and a clear evidence-based management plan. Where appropriate, Dr Kazmi can co-ordinate care with your GP, dietitian or other relevant specialists to support a sustainable approach to your health.
Contact us directly by phone or email, or use the online appointment request form. A GP referral letter is helpful but not always required. Please contact us to discuss your situation.
GP referrals for medical weight management are welcomed via Healthmail. A full clinic letter is returned to the referring GP within 5–7 working days. We welcome referrals for obesity with suspected hormonal cause, PCOS, hypothyroidism, metabolic syndrome, diabetes-related weight management and post-bariatric follow-up.
